چکیده
Hurricane events can cause severe consequences to the secure supply of electricity systems. This article designs a novel two-stage approach minimize hurricane impact on distribution networks by automatic system operation. A dynamic model is developed, which has variational wind intensity and moving path. The then presents resilience enhancement scheme that considers predisaster strengthening postcatastrophe reconfiguration. pre-disaster stage evaluates load importance an improved PageRank algorithm help deploy precisely. Then, combined soft open point networked microgrid strategy applied enhance resilience. Load curtailment quantified considering both power unbalancing line overloading. To promote computational efficiency, particle swarm optimization solve designed model. 33-bus employed demonstrate effectiveness proposed method. results clearly illustrate hurricanes curtailment, be significantly reduced appropriate network reconfiguration strategies. provides operators powerful tool systems against extreme events, reducing curtailment.

Prioritizing Resilience Enhancement Measures for Electric Distribution Networks Against Hurricanes
In recent years, climate change and increasing occurrence rate of high-impact rare (HR) natural events such as hurricanes have made it difficult to supply uninterrupted power to end-user customers. The extensive geographic area of electric distribution networks, as the last ring of the energy supply chain in power systems, has increased the vulnerability of these networks against natural events...
متن کاملResilience Enhancement of Active Distribution Networks Via Mobile Energy Storage Systems and Protection Coordination Consideration
Owing to the portability and flexibility of mobile energy storage systems (MESSs), they seem to be a promising solution to improve the resilience of the distribution system (DS). So, this paper presents a rolling optimization mechanism for dispatching MESSs and other resources in microgrids in case of a natural disaster occurrence. The proposed mechanism aims to minimize the total system cost b...
متن کاملTwo-stage Production Systems under Variable Returns to Scale Technology: A DEA Approach
Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a non-parametric approach for performance analysis of decision making units (DMUs) which uses a set of inputs to produce a set of outputs without the need to consider internal operations of each unit. In recent years, there have been various studies dealt with two-stage production systems, i.e. systems which consume some inputs in their first stage to produce ...
متن کاملA Divergence Measure for Combining Super-Efficiency Scores in Performance Measurement of Two-Stage Production Systems
In the conventional data envelopment analysis (DEA) internal sub-processes of the production units are ignored. The current paper develops a network-DEA super-efficiency model to compare the performance of efficient network systems. A new ranking method is developed by aggregating the computed super-efficiency scores with a J-divergence measure. The proposed approach is then applied to evaluate...
متن کاملA New Two-stage Iterative Method for Linear Systems and Its Application in Solving Poisson's Equation
In the current study we investigate the two-stage iterative method for solving linear systems. Our new results shows which splitting generates convergence fast in iterative methods. Finally, we solve the Poisson-Block tridiagonal matrix from Poisson's equation which arises in mechanical engineering and theoretical physics. Numerical computations are presented based on a particular linear system...
